D.U.S.T.O.F.F. is derived from the radio call sign given to the 57th Medical Detachment aeromedical helicopter evacuation unit in Vietnam (1962) and stands for Dedicated, Unhesitating Support To Our Fighting Forces.  CDF Founder/CEO Charles Claybaker personally experienced "the last ride off the battle field" when the CV-22 Osprey he was in went down in Zabul Province, Afghanistan on 09 Apr 2010.  When the idea of the foundation first came about Charles felt that the term D.U.S.T.O.F.F. embodied the mission of what he wanted to do and why he wanted to do it. From there, Claybaker D.U.S.T.O.F.F. Foundation was born.

CDF CEO Charles Claybaker being honored with the 2017 Honored Veteran Award along with Carrie W. Nero Brigadier General, ANC, USAR (whom served our country during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm) from Mayor Rick Kriseman and the generous city of St. Petersburg at the 4th Annual City of St. Petersburg Veterans Day Celebration in Williams Park. Thank you to everyone that voted!     RLTW
